Malicious Monday: Regina George

One time she met John Stamos on a plane...
And he told her she was pretty.
One time she punched me in the face... it was awesome!

Today we pay tribute to the glamorous queen-bee. bitch, Regina George from the movie Mean Girls.

"Why are you so obsessed with me?" 

Mean Girls is about Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) as she attends a real school for the first time in her life. She soon makes befriends two of the school's outcasts Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese). Together, they cook up a plan for Cady to infiltrate the popular clique of the school called The Plastics and destroy the queen-bee Regina George (Rachel McAdams). 

I suck at doing synopsis. Anyway, the movie to about a bunch of bitches in high school, screwing each other over, talking shit about each other and just being general assholes to each other. It's great.

The villain in this high school tale, is non-other than the fabulous Regina George. I would go as far to say Rachel McAdams as Regina George is the star of this movie. What makes Regina George a villain? She's that girl in high school who goes out of her way to be nasty and bitchy to you. She also plots behind your back to destroy your life, and most of the time succeeds. 

I was OBSESSED with Regina George when this movie came out! I thought she was fan-fucking-tastic! I know I was supposed to hate her, but if I'm supposed to hate her, why did you make her a blonde, fabulous bitch? I don't understand this logic. I've always had a thing for ice-cold blonde bitches. 

Though-out the movie, we watch Regina do a bunch of terrible shit! 

•  She convinces some girl's mom that her daughter has gone to Planned Parenthood. 
•  She tells everyone in school that her former best friend is a lesbian. 
•  She starts dating a guy that she knows her friend likes just so she can dangle him in front of her. 
• She then cheats on this guy, you know, just for shits and gigs. 
• She manipulates everyone in her school into attacking each other and causing an all out riot. 

It's almost like she's mean just for the sake of being mean. Is she really though? I mean yeah, she is, but there had to be an underlying reason. Could it be because Regina is a realist? She knows in high school it's eat or be eaten. Maybe she's protecting herself from all the high school bullshit by creating bullshit for other people. Yeah it's wrong, but damn, this isn't a garden party! This is high school! You do what you have to in order to survive!

The Queen rides her royal carriage. 

Another thing I don't get, if Regina is such a bitch all the time, why does everyone love her? Toward the end of the movie, we learn that everyone has felt personally victimized by her in some way. WTF? Is it fear? Do they pretend to love her so she doesn't punch them in the face? Why is she so popular if everyone hates her? It's doesn't matter in the end, she's a trendsetter and everyone wants to be her! DONE! Bye!

I don't like how fake Regina is, but at the same time I do. She's so manipulative and calculating, she has to be that way in order to get her desired result. And let's not forget that Regina is a victim in this movie! That's right! A group of outcast plan to systematically dismantle Regina's life. In the end you're wondering who the real monster is. 

You're like really pretty!

No matter how you feel about Regina George, you have to admit she's fabulous! She's a fucking bitch, but she looks good being a fucking bitch! She literally gives 0 fucks and that's why we love her! For that, Regina George will forever be in the Villain Hall of Fame.
